How it works
The remaining time is computed from the end moment, so the alarm rings on time even if the tab is in the background. Browsers only play sound after an interaction, which pressing Start already counts as. Your last duration is remembered in this browser.
Frequently asked questions
How do I set a 5 minute timer?
Press the 5 min preset, then Start. For other durations fill in the hours, minutes and seconds fields.
What happens when time is up?
The alarm rings three times, the number blinks and the tab title changes to "Time is up".
Can I use it for pomodoro?
Yes, with the 25 min preset. There is also a separate Work Break tool that counts work and break cycles.
