Fuel Calculator

Three questions, three boxes: what will this trip cost, what does my car use, what does a kilometre cost?

What will this trip cost?

What does my car use?

Cost per kilometre

The formulas

Fuel = distance × consumption ÷ 100. Cost = fuel × price per litre. Consumption = litres used × 100 ÷ distance; the most accurate figure comes from filling up, resetting the trip counter and entering the litres at the next fill. The price is taken as fixed; on a long trip station prices vary, and that difference is not modelled.
